Maybe this is why Starmer's happy with all the other distractions. This is his main WF task. The Climate and Nature Bill: What They Do Not Want You to Know This Bill will fundamentally change our society, and we do not have much time to stop it. Its second reading is in just 12 days on 24 January 2025, and the implications are devastating. The Bill’s vague and sweeping language allows unelected bodies to control our lives, mandates heavy restrictions, and threatens livelihoods in ways that many do not yet understand. If passed, it will: 1️⃣ Destroy farming and rural communities through compulsory land rewilding and restrictions on how land can be used. Farmers could lose their land and livelihoods under "sustainability" goals. 2️⃣ Push energy and food prices higher than ever by forcing rapid fossil fuel bans and expensive retrofitting of homes, with no regard for the cost to ordinary people. 3️⃣ Take away personal freedoms by introducing mechanisms to track and penalise travel, food, and energy use. 4️⃣ Give unprecedented power to unelected NGOs and assemblies, reducing democratic accountability and leaving future policies in the hands of technocrats. Read the Bill here: https://zerohour.uk/downloads/climate-and-nature-bill.pdf See the supporting report: https://climateassembly.uk/report/read/executive-summary.pdf This is not speculation. This is what their own documents say. Once passed, this Bill will be used to impose further restrictions, justified as "necessary for the environment." We have just 12 days to make our voices heard. If we do not act now, the consequences will be irreversible. This is not about protecting the planet—it is about control. https://x.com/chrislittlewoo8/status/1878431823132229893
The Trump administration is rumored to be preparing a dramatic response to revelations of foreign interference in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. By making an example of Starmer, Trump could send a stark message to any foreign leader contemplating interference in U.S. elections: no one is beyond the reach of American justice. https://x.com/JimFergusonUK/status/1878063755856117957
Ukraine have been making very strong noises about peace, citing Trump's involvement as the key factor. Quite apt for the Sabbath... No more war pigs have the power...
You used to be fairly good at the spin. But you're just starting to stink the place out recently. "Our". Play with someone else, there's a love.
The problem with politicians , especially those who get cabinet positions, they don’t need formal qualifications. We’d be better served with Chancelors who had economics related qualifications and ‘good’ experience in the industry. Same for all other positions - relevant qualifications and experience in that field. In addition, the department should have full time employees and advisors from that ‘industry’. To many nameless / faceless individuals making decisions they are not qualified to make. Labour need to appoint a board of ‘business’ people to advise them on how to make the economy work and benefit everyone .
