Beat Burnley and then get Preston/Charlton/Wycombe away would be ideal.

Fair play to him today with his goal celebrations
Pet peeve of mine(seen many times this season) are players gifted a tap in and jumping around like they’ve scored a Wembley winner

Sulemana definitely MOTM over Dibling for me. Was a menace all the time he was on the field. Dibs didn’t do much other than pop those couple in.

Sulemana did a 'shhh' on his didn't he?

Fair enough he was good today but he really hasn't done enough to earn that yet.

I know that wasn't Swansea's best XI, but that was very easy us and I don't think we even got out of second gear.

It's nothing that we don't already know, but the gulf between the two divisions is huge. Fernandes was my MOTM, he ran the show. I'd love it if we could keep hold of him for next season.

    3-0

Absolutely nothing to complain about with that result. Yep against a weakened team but you can only beat what is in front of you. Who knows it might inject some much needed confidence. COYR

Only bad thing is that this will probs make Jurić trust Sulemana even more now

Well that 2nd half was a bit of a snooze fest. What struck me was that AA couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo at the moment and Joe Aribo is still stuck in RM mode.
Would love to see a Mario Lemina type of player that surges forward with the ball and threatens the opposition, JA is tidy and on the most part efficient but not very inspiring. Could we tempt JWP back for a final swansong before his career slowly peters out?
I'm betting Sulemana looks great in training but for me his lack of a left foot is not going to trouble too many Premiership defenders and is never going to be anything more than middling Championship standard, seen too many duff performances to be convinced yet.
Positives we won, I had tickets but couldn't be arsed going - 12k attendance is dreadful and I'm afraid a sign of the times

Just goes to show the gulf between the leagues, amplified by the changes Swansea made too, but we did what we needed to do so got to take the win and enjoy it! As Os says though, just because we won this game, doesn't mean these players are the ones to persist with. We know the likes or Aribo, Bree, Sulemana etc. are not PL level players, todays win doesn't change that.

Just got back in ... always a difficult type of game to judge, but I thought we were competent enough without looking spectacular.

    Look forward to next season

Happy to do it if we're not separating out the cup!

Well done Odd River. And yes I suppose well done Saints too.

Let's see if you can carry us to a big win at Utd which is only a few days time

I’m all for giving him minutes for the rest of the season. If he can show a bit of competence and potential to improve then we can get him sold for some good money

I'm still in the get him gone for any price camp ... 50 good minutes against a very poor Swansea defence isn't enough to erase 2 years of underwhelming disappointing performances.

I'm still of the view that we should look to sell him, whether this month or in the summer. Today doesn't change that.

But I do also still think that there's an unanswered question of how might he perform in the Championship under a manager who gives him license to express himself. Because I do believe that Martin's style restricted him. The point is though, I don't know what the answer to that question is. And I'm not sure that I'm bothered about wanting to find out.
