So a continuity Russball side v one trying to break away with it.

So far it is showing what we all suspected.

 

It's his turn of pace. When he uses it, he is excellent

This Sulemana performance is actually making me cross. Where the **** has this Sulemana been? I know Swansea are a bit **** but Sulemana is playing with aggression and confidence and haven't seen nearly enough of that from him.

I'm struggling to see if Swansea are just really slow, or if he is as lighting quick as he is appearing today.

 

PL level defenders are a bit more savvy than to get beaten everytime by tap and sprint which is what he tends to do

Plus the vast majority of the “loads of chances” he’s been getting have been about 10 min cameos at end of games where we are either winning comfortably (last year) or getting battered (this year)

 

Les, Sully and Fernandes been really good today. Joe looks tidy at this level too. Almost like we’re a good Championship team.

£22m, 4 managers, 2 years and a **** championship defence and we finally have something meaningful from Sulemana ... money well spent indeed.

It’s a nice change to watch a Saints team that looks vaguely competant. I know it’s against a depleted, average. Championship team but it’s a faint light in a dark season.
