I wasn’t that fussed either way about a cup run given our current predicament. Would’ve preferred to win of course but it’s not like dropping points in the league.

Bigger concern is that we had crucial players play 120 minutes and look absolutely frigged and cramping up. We cannot afford for Pedro and Puerta to have muscle injuries.

Doncaster came to spoil the game, they got away with it, took their one chance and dragged it to penalties. Fair play to them, but on another day they get hammered.

Playing our best players for 120 mins and not getting the result to show for it is bad. All that fatigue for nothing.

The one where we had 19 shots to 6, and 8 on target to 2. 10 corners to 2 too to pile on the pressure, and about 2/3rds of their side on bookings because they had to take us out to break up attacks. Their keeper gets sent off and that's a completely different game.

Couldnt agree more... today IMO was really bad management from Selles over Pedro and Puerta who obviously is now injured...

As I said, it was a good performance we just couldn't find the goals. And yes, I think anyone would agree that a keeper being sent off changes the complexion of the game.
