He’s a classy player and you can tell from Slot and the coaches reaction they are made up for him.

he’s a had a tough time since joining, we can all get frustrated and make up our own stories and judge this and that, let’s just support the lad - he could be very important to us this half of the year

We need the depth, across the whole squad. Lets not write a player off who hasn't played much for about a year due to injuries and manager decisions (in Italy).

I'd like to see some of the kids today given more chances in the league, if we're not going to buy in Jan, then we will need them to give the main guys breaks or we'll end up over playing some players, ie Mac and Grav.

And no selling, Elliott or anyone, again we've not enough depth across the squad, so these players could be key towards the backend of the season.

Found this on net as I had heard this before.
Fun Fact: Wataru Endo has actually played more times as a centre back (240 appearances) in his career than a defensive midfielder (187 appearances)

It's almost none of you remember Chiesa Snr play. He was chunky as **** at times and was a really good player. Our Chiesa is a waif in comparison.

It was a lot easier for both of them than v spurs.

Both got 90.mins which is about all they can ask for but neither need anything amazing (hard to mind)

Just move on and hope for another opportunity for both as the cl restarts.

I'm very sure 95% of the press chatter is completely made up.

I'm also sure the guy needs to do a lot more to get time in a premier leagie game.

A lot of the press talk is complete waffle.

There's no way we will be taking 40million for Elliott as nobody will offer that.

We will sell morton though and loan McConnell and danns out near deadline day.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that, a 21 year old who has about 100 appearances for LFC…

    Elliott?

Dortmund and Brighton will not pay that.

They are sniffers just seeing if a bargain is to be had. Theres not a chance we sell him ehen he has another 2.5 years left.

We had the option today to give chiesa his start at rw but played Elliott there.

We could have played Elliott at 10 but played jota there.

Can we read anything into this?

Is it circumstances and plans to get some 90 and chiesa a controlled 45?

Does slot consider Elliott more of a wide man?

It's hard to know. I really think there was a lot of preplanned stuff today. 30 for Bradley. 45 for chiesa. 90 for quansah and endo and Elliott and Jota.

Yeah I think so, and much better to give Chiesa the second 45 when the opposition will be tiring.

There will be plenty interested if it appears we are entertaining looking to offload. I sincerely hope we’re not.

Do we have enough English trained players to be selling Elliott on?

    Depends

    Kelleher. Gone?
    Trent. Gone?
    Gomez??
    Jones.
    Jaros (assume happy to stay?)
    Morton (has to be gone)

Turning senior. (All 21, no sure in the dates for next season mind)

    Bradley
    Quansah
    Elliott

So when you go through it trent and kellher going leaves us at 7 not 8 so we would end up say putting Harvey Davies in as hg as 3rd keeper. (Who desperately need to go play games btw)

Dortmund appear to have already moved on. Looking at one of the kids at Chelsea that can't get a game

His father, who I watched through C4 Italian football was a very talented player . Played for Sampdoria before mainly for Parma and Fiorentina. His goal ratio was better at Fiorentina than Parma too.
