If the big two left I would think Scottish football would flourish, from afar, it seems that the rest of supporters up there are not interested in going to games when the Glasgow teams are in town, it seems that way. I put this down to foregone conclusions in the result. Having said all that, if it was to ever happen it would have been by now.
In my lifetime, if I was to put together a squad of 25 based from the UK, I would certainly have Hansen, Dalglish and Souness in it.
In the early 80's I used to know a Celtic fan who was a mate of mine, he used to go to football with us and meet up during the week for a , I went up to Glasgow for the Celtic v Dundee United Scottish Cup Final in '85. Frank McGarvey scored for Celtic to win 1-0. The Celtic fans were singing there's only one United, and that one is a biscuit. Our chum @The Penguin will probably remember this number This was in the days of overnight trains so we took the first train out of Euston and got the overnight one back, MANY were drunk to celebrate the occasion. We then got the train back, I then went to Paddington to then go to Weston-super-Mare to see the mighty Surrey take on Somerset in the John Player 40 over game. A fantastic weekend
I'm up north next month for Kilmarnock vs Rangers. We No longer let fans of The Ugly Sisters take over the bulk of the ground and fill the air with sectarian songs. There should be a more normal atmosphere.

The new FA Cup rules are very unfair on Tamworth. In any year since 1871 Tamorth would have earned a re-play. Holding Spurs to 0-0 after 90 minutes. A replay at the Tottenham Stadium would have been a huge money-spinner for the little non-league Club. So well done the greedy Elite - you've hurt another grass-roots Football Club to help you line your own pockets.
