I really don't get the thinking behind the club's apparent stance on this. Why withhold a player who is urgently needed out of a fear that he'll be ineligible to play the grand total of one (or given a miracle) two games for his loan team?
It's not the club's stance, I've seen people online saying Dorrington shouldn't play against Tamworth as that might affect his loan Most of the League One teams in the fourth round draw are only there because their pitches were frozen today
at least there was a big upset yesterday between Brentford and Plymouth. Surely this means Dr Tottenham can have the day off?
Looking forward to seeing how Spurs cope with playing at this ground. Dreading the long throw ins though as apart from Dragusin, we don’t have any prolific headers in our defence.
I guess they will be more comfortable with the bounce of the ball etc we been training on plastic pitches for the game so hopefully we are ready I’m just happy to have seen Ange tweak it up on Wednesday as required
Less the ground, more their plastic pitch Coincidentally, Ange has said he won't be risking Richy in this game entirely because of it
Nah, it's the ground for me rather than the pitch. Seeing Levy in the "VIP" section will be hilarious and I believe there are only a handful of seats in the dugout. Would love to see a video of the Spurs players in the changing room! Ange has said no-one returning from injury will play in today's match but surely this is a good time for Mikey Moore to gain some minutes. Ange has also said that he will pick players based on the artificial pitch but I'm not sure what this actually means. Does he means those that have experience of playing on such pitch or those that he is willing to risk injuries?
Also not fond of Murdoch's Hate Comic being patronising about it, joking about their agricultural catering options and the usual Still, at least they aren't pressuring any of their players to eat a pie during the match this time...
Yeah, I saw the video from the Sun. I think the entourage from Spurs will be respectful and if I recall correctly, Spurs historically have been helpful to clubs of this stature in similar fixtures by giving them their share of the TV fees, or ticket revenue etc. Hopefully Spurs will do something similar today.
We definitely did Marine a solid a few years back, plus gave them memories of watching Gareth Bale play at their ground ...that last part sounded more patronising than I intended, didn't it?
Cannot understand for the life of me why Dorrington and Lankshear have travelled but aren't starting.
Very disappointing lineup. Yang not even in the squad, Lankshear still on the bench as is Dorrington and Olusesi, whilst Werner starts. If there was one game you could give a few starts to youngsters to… It definitely proves the fact Ange has got little interest in developing the academy.
