Tear in the eye, here’s gem with the lady who moved there, she needed a bit of advice from someone who had don’t exactly what they wanted to do. Moving to a new country with two young kids is daunting, gem did it with aplomb lol. This is the lady with gem, my daughter is on the left, it was a ladies day in the Pav my favourite pub in Spain….
Just watched a series from 2020 called “ Deadwood fell “ David tennant stars, now I’ll be honest I’m not a fan but in this he’s very good. It is well worth a watch if you like Dramas.
Netflix - a comparison of two series I recently watched. Firstly, Departure, Series 1, This was quite good, who dunnit and why, fast paced, at times glitzy. Entertaining but I will probably have forgotten about it in a month or so. Second, The Breakthrough, A Swedish crime investigation based on real events. This one got to me completely - nothing glamourous, just visceral, raw, emotional - for me it was beautifully paced (some might consider it slow). There is a kind of closure for everyone concerned but in reality it is just a slight numbing. This one will stay with me...well worth watching. I thought the acting was excellent, no hyped characters, just mundane internally stressed people.
Not seen and don't doubt it'll be an interesting watch, but I’ll never get over hearing him constantly calling himself ‘Rebel Dread’.
I used to read 'em years ago because me Dad was a massive reader of all genre of books and one of his favourites was westerns. I'll have to get back reading 'em, i've got a few on me tablet.
