They were embarrassing with the diving and moaning. No need either, they can play football, unlike Luton etc. who have an excuse perhaps . . .
Will likely miss their games against Sheff Utd and Leeds as a result of suspension. Maybe since we’re the aggrieved party they should let us choose which games he’s banned for.
I was thinking this last night. With retrospective bans, the aggrieved team stand to lose out. Really unfair system - I'd make him miss the return fixture instead.
Good, disgraceful behaviour Edit - only bad thing is he will miss the games against Sheff Utd and Leeds
Ayde bad, but if his plan was to roll about and try to get players booked etc, then maybe it wouldn’t matter as much. Interesting imo that spitting at someone (disgusting I know), but never likely to end a career, carries a 6 match ban. Yet elbowing/bteaking someone’s leg etc, potentially career ending fouls, carry a 3 match ban!
Fair play to him that he's admitted it and said he's disgusted by it. Doesn't excuse what he did, or how he acted during the game, but at least he's not tried to pretend it didn't happen.
And he apologised to Mepham too. So often the player who does it (Gerrard a prime example after stamping on a Man United player) apologises to their own teammates and fans, but completforgets about the person they wronged. This lad has seemingly been better advised
Yep. I lost any liking for them that day. I’ve yet to have a conversation about it with a Norwich fan and I know plenty. Best left or I’ll regret it.
I’m not excusing what he did either but we’ve all done things in the heat of the moment that we instantly regret.
Aye but he was a complete knob all game mate! Fair do's in a way if you're a bit **** and have to find a role in a team, take the cards and be a twat, but he can play! Should have stayed on his feet and won the game for them the idiot
The dirty cheating piece of ****. He must be able to spit upwards, as he spent most of the game rolling about on the pitch
