By one crude analysis, will be worse than last season (but with serious "outlier" measures) . By a more sophisticated one, we will be quite happy.
Yet another weird thing that Ange has said before/after a game. Apparently chaotic draws or defeats are better than boring wins
He’s joking and laughing after Spurs conceded a last minute equaliser. He said entertainment is more important than winning 1-0 or drawing 0-0. On he might not have said he would rather lose but he’s made it clear he would rather entertain (for me chaotic football isn’t always entertaining) than win. That’s weird
He has said nothing of the sort. He simply believes that entertaining and winning are both possible together. That has been the Spurs philosophy since the 60s at least.
Training Ground Guru claim we have pinched The Sheikh Mansour Team's senior data scientist Aleksandra Satikova Oh, and we brought in Pawel Kapuscinski last week to be our new Data Engineer, which has been confirmed by Kapuscinski's Linkedin
Serdal Adali, one of Besiktas’ presidential candidates gave a TV interview the other day saying that when they spoke to Edin Terzic, he apparently told them he was expecting an agreement with us soon. I’d normally rubbish any Turkish source but the clip is doing the rounds on Twitter of Adali saying it. Probably still is nonsense as most English sources still claim Ange has full backing of the board albeit has been told results must improve.
TBH it wouldn't surprise me if Levy has subtly told Munn and Lange to look for managerial hires in the last month, though I doubt any trigger will be pulled until mid-February at the earliest given our continued cup involvements are certainly playing a big part in Ange's prospects until the end of the season
I’ve said it since around the end of September that late Jan/ Feb will likely be the time we see the hammer come down. Though if he racks up a few more losses then it could be early/ mid Jan.
Sami Mokbel is saying the SKC semi against Liverpool is the key to Ange's future Honestly, I think that's bollocks: the Hoffenheim game is probably the big one, though the FA Cup fourth round draw may also come into play depending on who we draw
Yeah Terzic makes a lot of sense as there'd be no compensation to pay. Nice cheap option for Uncle Daniel.
