Is rhian brewster one of the worst signings in football history? Sheff utd paid 26m for him 5 years ago and he has 6 league goals Just over 1 goal a season average
6,216. I know having a 3rd round game on a Thursday night is ridiculous, as is one arpt 12 on a Sunday but they would never have had a low attendance like that years ago, Crowds used to go up for 3rd round of Cup even if playing a team in same division.
Watched Everton vs Posh and I thought Kyprianou was impressive again. Strong, tall lad who can break up play but also very comfortable on the ball and is good at making forward passes under pressure without taking too many touches. Him, Alzate and Puerta would be some midfield, not just for this season but next season if we stay up.
My mate went to it, probably with a good number of other fans who can't get seats for their league games. Very impressive though.
The fact they can’t get tickets for league games despite being pretty abject for years and in the same city as the more high profile Liverpool FC just shows what a good fan base they have. And not a ground full of plastics. I think they have a waiting list of 30,000 - 30,000 so will have no problems filling the new stadium when they move in.
every scouser ive met has been everton never met any liverpool scousers, even liverpools legends are everton
Indeed. I wonder whether some went last night to boost their chances of a season ticket in the new stadium, because that's quite the turnout.
Well I don't know where they're hiding then because it feels 50/50 to me. There's a shopping centre there called 'Liverpool One', so they've named the merchandise shop 'Liverpool One, Everton Nil'.
Wrong way round, the Everton shop is called Everton Two, so their address is Everton Two, Liverpool One.
