Following on from the last 5 thread:

    Ipswich (Away)
    Villa (Home)
    Man U (Away)
    Spurs (Away)
    Wolves (Home)

We have Bromley in there as well but focusing on the bread and butter of the league.

Seem to have hit a bit of form but need to come up with some consistency now - especially away from home. Even a couple of draws with those around us will keep us in the pack chasing those 4th-6th places - massively important to not lose a couple on the bounce before the January market opens up to help with any incoming transfers being sold the (pipe) dream.

    I think 11.

Howe has managed to adapt and has realised that Tonali is the anchor of the midfield. Like a god of god the sexy bastard.

Bruno is released. And Joelinton can just run around damaging peoples souls. Killing tgem softly.

I think the rest of the season is going to be good for us.

Might be overthinking it - but does having talent like Bruno in the 8, instead of a worker like Longstaff, make Murphy a better player? I mean in the sense of Murphy can make runs and just be found, rather than Longstaff slowing things down?

Yes. That’s the technical sense of management. Having three solid CM means the wider players can express themselves more.

A winger can only do what they do with the passes from technically gifted players.

Remember the days of 4-4-2 we always had under Keegan and Bobby two solid technical CM.

The ball would be switched quickly to the wings and the wingers who knew the ball was coming would stand on the offside line and then whip crosses in.

Then you have your strikers. The problem now is that in then days you would have. Shearer and a Ferdinand.

But Keegan actually created the concept of the technical and athletic one mythology.
Cole Beardsley partnership was brutal in the day.

Honestly with 6 points on the board and Villa were the best team in that list, this might not be a mental prediction now!

I can see up chucking points away at Spurs. They’re terrible but we can chuck in horror shows too!
