Unlike Charlton, where the visit of Wrexham is treated by the board like our biggest home game for 50 years and our trip to Preston the biggest away game since time began, Sheffield United have something else to play for. The last thing they need is to waste resources (as their board and many fans would see it) getting to the 5th round of the FA cup before bowing out, while blowing their promotion shout in the meantime.
