Bet Victor had Mourinho odds on to be their next manager yesterday :emoticon-0104-surpr

Doesn’t mean a great deal, as we found out in the summer <laugh>
Big decision for them, they've got a poor team but not surprised they've moved on. New owners and Dyche's football is so boring to.watch

That Everton job is a hard one. They simply have to be in the PL when they move into the new ground.

Can see them going for Moyes. Think it would get the fans behind the team.

Current Everton odds (not that they mean much)

Moyes 8/11
Mourinho 2/1
Carsley 14/1
Baines 16/1

Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as Senior Men’s First Team Manager with immediate effect.

Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard and Billy Mercer have also left the Club.

The process to appoint a new manager is under way and an update will be provided in due course.

Under-18s Head Coach Leighton Baines and Club Captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis.

Has a manager ever been sacked this close to a game before? They play in 3 hours :D

Everton are a poor team and look to have run out of whatever gas they had under Dyche. But , unless they can spend or recruit very wisely now, they could be relying on the fact that two look already down, and one of two others look likely to provide the third.

Could be a good day out for Championship travelling fans next season!
