Aye to a level. Being honest I think the Blair’s reign was our best time in the country in my lifetime - services that help people and more wealth, like any government it fell apart over mistakes. Johnson and Truss were ridiculous like. Personally I think Starmer is a safe pair of hands because of his history even if drab he just inherited a badly run country combined with added post brexit / lockdown low income. I see no evidence to suggest that Farage will be competent at anything but blagging and PR. His policies are for simpletons who can’t understand complexity and for retaining wealth for the wealthy but running a country isn’t simple and the wealthy have more than enough while others are on their arse. When he privatises the nhs and your old relatives or you have to pay for their ailments it’ll be a long road back. He’s a charlatan.
This is why I don’t understand the obsession to make people live longer tbh … … 70yo is plenty and would get me through to the end of the season
I’ve had two recent experiences - friends and extended family of people living too long. Propped up by meds and turned over without any clue what’s going on and no joy. People close to them feeling guilty about wanting it to end and being relaxed afterwards. Not saying we should kill everyone but you have a good point.
Aye, I’d not be thrilled to have someone wiping my arse and feeding me.. send me to Switzerland and get it over with, reduce the burden on whichever poor bugger gets the responsibility!
It would be a strange feeling when it’s coming to the end of your time, I don’t fancy it but I have no problem killing everyone else
