Yes, he repeats exactly what everyone already knows, blames everyone else but offers no solution whatsoever …

… then makes out only he can see the problem.

    Incredibly people fall for it.

He also campaigned for Brexit and promised a land of milk and honey should it happen. Of course nothing of the kind materialised but he blames that on the Tories for delivering the "wrong kind of Brexit" without enlightening us mere mortals as to what the 'right' kind of Brexit would be.

He's a born salesman and political campaigner. Just a pity he's morally bankrupt and doesn't give a **** about anyone other than himself.

If 'the right Brexit' was so easily deliverable why would any government choose to deliver this shyte show ...

... answer is, they wouldn't, it was all built on racism and lies.

There's currently a campaign to rerun the election with around 3 million signatures ...

... presumably some will be those who said we had to accept Brexit as democracy <laugh>

Sorry for being dim mate. If you wouldn’t mind explaining why there is a dislike of Farage I’d appreciate it.

He is a lying, over priveleged millionaire banker populist con man who wants to privatise the NHS and has admitted he admires Hitler and Putin, Is that succinct enough?

He does have some policies. End the NHS and replace with an American model of healthcare being one of them.

The ultimate grifter has only ever been about self preservation and will do whatever it takes to keep relevant. Try to be MP 8 times in random cities. Never serve their constituency. Massive sycophant who needs to be watched and many people have not shamefully bought into the farage con.

I'll put my two-penneth in....at the risk of losing my head!<laugh> I'm no lover of Farage...if I was categorising him,I'd group him with Methven..a chancer, who is constantly trying to seize an opportunity he probably isn't wise enough to take advantage of.
However,Farage has at the very least been consistent in his constant railing against the control he sees the EU having exerted over this country, particularly through unfettered immigration, largely from Eastern European countries admitted into the EU, mostly around the turn of the century. He believes this has been damaging in the extreme, and the vote to leave the EU in 2016 was an expression of the swell of feeling a majority....slender...but still a majority...of people had up and down the country,in agreement with him, when seeing the pressure being put on all our public services....and I mean all,....directly affecting quality of life in many areas......including training and wages, and,in many instances, their communities being transformed into something they couldn't relate to,and didn't feel part of,despite having lived there all their lives. In other words,a cultural invasion.
Throughout this century so far, this country has suffered from dreadfully poor leadership, from Blair,in encouraging this situation to develop,to Cameron, who organised a two option vote without having the first clue of what to do in the event of his unexpected option being returned. The subsequent Tory party collapse in leadership, largely via Boris Johnson, has resulted in our current demise, and Farage is attempting to capitalise on it and to use the support he undoubtedly has to gain the power to exercise his views. He has an ongoing problem in that he's continually linked with the far right, which he seems to be trying to distance himself from, quite rightly in my view....if he fails it will bring him nothing but disaster. There is a distinction between the centre-right and the far-right,which he needs to establish very firmly if he's to make any progress up his ladder. The US have elected a right wing President, who's allied himself with people like Musk .It'll be interesting to see how Farage plays this for the next four years.

His real problem is that his appeal, to voters, is that he is far right ...

... if he distances himself from that what does he have left?

Musk has just embarrassed him specifically over that issue and said he's not up to the job.

My take on Farage is that he doesn’t put himself across very well at all, but he’s a kind of “Lone Ranger” in politics who I think will hold his own against any other MP from either of the big two. At least he stands up for what he thinks is right and when he goes on question time etc he always comes out of the polls at the top even with BBC plants in the audience asking him prepped questions.. I think he’s done the hard yards and people are waking up to the **** state this country is quickly becoming so whether he stays or goes it doesn’t matter.

These MP’s are put on the spot daily on live television and they seize up, dodge the question, blame the other party.. do anything possible to avoid answering whilst not incriminating their party. This is why people are looking to alternatives. It’s not because half the country are racist they’re just fed up and calling them racist for pointing out simple public data that’s there for all to see ie the population boom, the crime per capita of nationals from those crossing illegally etc just fuels the fire. Reading left wingers constantly say reform voters are unemployed, low iq etc all of this bollocks.. Reform is a new party so their followers must’ve came from somewhere - tories are apparently all privately educated, middle class folk so it can’t be them. So are they labour defectors?

And in terms of the agenda he’s constantly pushing around immigration..
How anyone can say with a straight face that the infrastructure problems we’re seeing are a funding thing and not due to the population boom is just wild. We’ve now taken over Germany for foreign born nationals at 16% of the population - around 12m people.. that’s 7m more than it was 20 years ago in the 2004 census. That’s why you can’t get an appointment with the NHS. That’s why there’s a housing crisis. It’s not rocket science ffs. The population of the UK rose by 3 million people from 1984 to 2004. From 2004 to 2024 it’s risen by 10 million.

Farage is an absolute master of dodging questions.

Hi main issue is illegal immigration and he doesn’t have an answer …

    … just questions.

‘I’m the only person asking difficult questions!!!’

Errr, no … everyone is asking the same question.

He has centre-right surely...the support of those who are culturally protective, but not racist.
Imo,Musk calling him out for not being far right enough does him favours rather than hurts him. The overwhelming majority of people in this country are not racist, but they are culturally and history protective, and it's to these people he may start to appeal.

He distances himself from the far right because he is trying to bluff people into thinking he isn’t a white supremacist
