He's gone for 40m in total the past 2 years, he was integral for Le Bris's lorient side in his first successful season there. I think he's a really good player and his stats are very good. Loads of football fans seem to be quoting the link and can't believe he would go to the champ. I'm still on the fence whether it's even attainable for us
Definitely agree that they had pressure moments that they didn't convert. However, I don't think this was particularly down to having the two up top as that only really came into play in our attacking shape. We'd have had the same defensive structure if Rigg had played. Mostly I think it was about fatigue and carelessness. They worked us on the right side of our defence and both Hume and Mepham had off days IMO. Where perhaps the formation did hurt us was in our buildup. First half especially we were ponderous and didn't use it well from deep. Ended with us turning the ball over or losing it. Maybe an extra man would have helped there. However, I still reckon that was more the fatigue - and how easy we found it when it clicked meaning we overplayed - that caused that.

It was more his use of the word Exclusive How can it be an Exclusive if you're saying stuff that's happening "Reportedly". That's literally saying you heard / read it somewhere else.
In all seriousness though as its back to work day I'm desperate for some transfer news to sink some time into.
No doubt he's a quality player, it's always about how players adapt to English football tho - the championship is unlike any league in the world imo Would def be excited to see how he adjusts to it
The formation question is an interesting complication. If I look at our existing squad even before transfers I’d say we’ve got 10-12 players that warrant minutes all looking to share time in our front 6. That’s a hell of a lot. Signing the likes of Le Fee would be a massive coup but what does that mean for the existing central midfielders who are already sharing 3 spots. Playing a 4-4-2 strangles things even more. However, playing a 4-3-3 means that our existing 4 strikers who warrant minutes are all sharing 1 spot, never mind an addition. Lots to think about and tough to keep the balance. Will be interesting to see if RLB alters his approach to squad management.
I think Connolly and Rusyn will leave, Abdullahi will end up playing more of 21s football and Mayenda can get minutes across the front 3, New CF and Isidor to compete. We shouldn't be afraid of rotation either, use the squad more
