Lol, they've lost 5 of the 8 Prem games they've played under him so far! Really not sure this is an indication of things to come, plus still over half an hour to go.
I personally don’t like the handball rule as it stands. It wasn’t a meant hand ball. His arms were up to defend his face I believe. But what I think the rules should be is if it hits yours hand regardless of intent it should be a penalty. I know that contradicts my first paragraph. But the rules are grey right now.
Should be all down to intent, ball to hand or hand to ball. That’s as clear as you’ll get it, yet they dick around and dick around making it worse every year. That’s IFAB for ya.
See my last post for my reasons. I don’t like this unnatural position lark. It’s always up for dispute. So I would rather it be a penalty if it hits someone’s hand. And it’s tough luck. But that’s just my opinion.
I agree I hate the current rules because they can be interpreted in ways you want. Even the Burn one yesterday. Questionable. But if it was intent then it wasn’t handball.
Our next 4 league games should all be wins..liverpool drop more points in the meantime and you just don't know. Were still fighting for this title.
