I think weather forecasters are a bit like Covid models, they take the extreme worst case scenario & present as a done deal fact! Seems to happen every time. Every weather event gets blown out of proportion

So the met office rubbished the FoI. Having had many dealings with the Met Office, I found that it's as well to look more deeply into things.
