It really helped Hull's cause that you attacked without fear. A lot of teams this season have paid far too much respect, and barely cross the halfway line.
This was my main gripe about the Boro game, which was the polar opposite to yesterday. We hardly got out of our own half so was good to see that addressed yesterday.
Just read on Burnsy Twitter, he didn’t want to compromise the club or the pod . Guess if he was too negative , etc
Fair enough but a bit strange since as I said Fletch appeared on it last season when commentating, but I guess Burns would feel like he couldn't be completely honest.
Yeah Fletch generally very positive ( maybe for the reason he worked for them ) Burnsy more honest, some say negative but I agree with him 95% of the time . I don’t listen to Humberside now he’s not on it , and probably won’t this now . Shame
Burnsy tended to take a bit of a hard line on the pod at times and probably feels it's a bit difficult to be himself with the conflict of interests. As soon as I heard he was on comms I thought it might be awkward, so it doesn't surprise me at all.
Why not? As long as he's not being abusive I don't see the issue. Managers give blunt assessments of games all the time.
You can't really be critical though or pass on information you've become privy to because of your position. Which is what he's basically saying. I couldn't go on social media criticising my employer without consequences. Even though it might be accurate.
Strodder? Any relation to the Marlborough Ave Strodders Ian and Andy? Their dad was a police dog handler.
