From an outside perspective, it was quite clear early on that Fat Ange is very one dimensional manager. That high line is great in certain scenarios, but when you do it all the time, it becomes very easy to set up against. He's out of his depth, but he's a stubborn ****. And Levy won't sack him because it will reflect as yet another failure on his behalf. Happy days
Yeah Levy knows sacking Ange reflects poorly on him too. Was always a risky appointment and it’s not worked at all. Sacking Ange won’t solve all Spurs issues (probably not even half of them) but I’m confident most decent managers could get more out of this squad than he has.
I remember getting absolute pelters on your board years ago for pointing out that Levy has been holding you back. Most of it came from PNP and Spurf and there was an almost cult like appreciation of him. From a Gooner perspective, we have sat back and watched your lot sack manager after manager. You make a little bit of progress and then bam, it's back to square one again. The one common denominator is Levy at the wheel doing the hiring and firing. The fact that our lot love to see him in charge at Spurs should tell you everything.
Fortunately Jackson is absolute ****e so Palace are still in this. Mental they can spend a billion and have Sanchez in goal and Shola Ameobi up front.
Maybe Ange’s job is now dependent on the league cup? They’ll probably get rid if Liverpool dump them out.
Can I just thank Southampton FC and West Ham United FC for easing the pain and disappointment of today's footballing experience...
Yeah I’ve changed my mind about you going past our 15 and 19 point seasons. Might scratch past 15 but you ain’t hitting 20 points bro.
Still am ... we are improving despite the results and he will have hopefully brought in at least a couple of his own signings this month ...
