Absurd to have thrown that away. I can't quite believe it. Supporting this team is bad for one's mental health.

He might well be but I don't have confidence in our back-up options.

Go out and buy a ****ing keeper because if Darrow can’t get ahead of Meslier then he shouldn’t be at the club. The only way we keep the score down is if the defence keep the other team well away from our goal. I’ve said it before, on the odd occasion defenders can’t play brilliantly every match they can at least expect the keeper to help them out, he doesn’t it’s as simple as that.

If we had held in to win in the last 2 games we would have opened up a gap between us and the chasers. But we just bottled it.... again

even the 3rd goal he was nowhere near anything closed his eyes and went for a punch and then took a knee.

Meslier - 0. Caught in no man's land for the first. Dithered when Hull hit the post 1st half. Threw one in the net for Hull's 2nd and flapped about for Hull's third. Never dominated his area from high balls. Needs dropping now.

Bogle - 6. Not at the races defensively. Tried to get forward and did get an assist for Dan James.

Ampadu - 5. Exposed by a lack of midfield protection but caught on wrong side of his man too often.

Rodon - 5. Too many chances given to Hull. Looked like he'd never played at this level before.

Wober - 3. One decent cross in the 2nd half was a bright point in an otherwise horrendous defensive display.

Tanaka - 6. Offered little protection to the back 4 but got his first goal with a great shot.

Rothwell - 5. Huffed and puffed but wandered out of position too often leaving big gaps through the middle.

Aaronson - 7. Only player to offer a bit of effort. Tried his best to get us up the pitch.

James - 7. Some dreadful final balls or decisions but offered an outlet in behind. Got another goal but not looking as sharp as a month ago when he was bang in form.

Solomon - 8. Looked dangerous throughout. Another assist. Hull couldn't get the ball off him.

Piroe - 6. Good finish for the goal but too many passes gone astray and another game where you just want a bit more from him.

    Subs.

Byram - 6. An upgrade on Wober but defence certainly wasn't solid with him on either.

Guilavogui - n/a. Injury time sub.

Joseph - n/a. Injury time sub.

Farke - 4. Failed to stop us conceding chances. Needs to sort out the goalkeeping issues this month if we are to go up. Problems were obvious even at 3-1 but we still looked open.

As you all know i always thought Meslier is League 1 at best, unfortunately he doesn't just have a one off poor perfomance now and again, but has become consistently poor in every game. He has got to step aside and give Darlow a chance, Darlow might not be any good but can he be any worse?, on the other hand after a run of games might become our first choice keeper. Need to find out NOW !!!

    Meslier....

Pompey at home, beat easily on his front post - 2pts lost.

Sunderland away, failed to catch a bouncing ball - 2pts lost.

Preston away, beaten too easily at his near post again - 2pts lost.

Hull away - knocked a ball back in to his 6 yard box for a tap in - 2 pts lost.

That's 8 points that one person has lost us. I recall him saving a 1 v 1 against Boro that stopped us going 2-1 down. That's about it.

He needs dropping for Darlow now. He can't be rewarded by keeping his place now. It sends the wrong message out if he keeps his place.
