Good endeavour in the second half. Austin, and defence played well including Reguilon who offered something different and more direct. Bergvall settled into the game very well after misplacing a few passes at the start. Need to play him more frequently now. Just a shame our forwards were not more clinical today. Still, a poor result in the grand scheme of things. Another defeat and we are edging closer to the relegation zone.
Austin made MotM. Quite justified in the circumstances. The clubs treatment of him has been disgraceful. Decent performances from Bergvall, Spence, Solanke and Porro. The 3 subs all did well, especially Reguilon. Sarr, Johnson and Kulusevski were poor - carrying the bug? I exclude Gray from criticism cos we're asking far too much from him already. Werner was... Well, he was Werner! Deserved a draw and if officials had done their job then probably would have got a win.
On TNT anyway... Edit. First ever PL game, no mistakes, commanded his line and box better than the supposed #1, his distribution was excellent and he knew when to launch it. Yep...I'm happy with that choice

That’s bizarre. Just because he didn’t drop a clanger doesn’t he was good. I’d probably give him a 6/10 tbh.
It’s become quite customary to give MOTM to a player making their debut so long as they do nothing wrong which he didn’t. Couldn’t prevent either goal and made some good commanding clearances especially from corners that Vicario’s struggled with at times. Our best player was probably between Bergvall, Porro or Solanke I’d say. Nice little booster for Austin though, if Kinsky joins within the next 24 hours it’s very possible it’ll have been his first and last performance for us too.
No room for sentiment with me He didn’t do anything massively wrong but he’s a number 3 level keeper and I don’t think he was motm. I think he will stick around and Forster will be gone in the summer. Good career, train and keep fit and get paid a decent amount.
The Heritage tour doesn’t take you into the stadium. You’re paying for the guide to show you the local area.
Saving grace for us is that Brentford, Utd and West Ham can all go above us with wins after today’s loss. Utd away to Pool though and West Ham have just gone 1-0 down at City. Brentford now away at Saints, you’d fancy them to win to know us to 12th… but it shouldn’t be as low as 14th… Silver linings.
