So much for Burnley's attacking force since they played Sunderland ...

... they've now managed two efforts, on target, in two and a half games

The commentators always claim it's 'two teams feeling each other out' in the first twenty minutes ...

... then it becomes 'a tense battle' or 'a chess game' with neither side giving an inch

 

Not easy on the eye this one.

 

Although according to Sky, even though Burnley have a good defensive record they're not a defensive team!

You don’t have a defensive record like theirs unless you’re a very special team ie Chelsea under Mourinho early days or you play defensive football. All of the data points to Burnley playing defensive football and not creating enough.

 

So that stat at half time with no shots make them a very special team then?

This is what Burnley have been doing all season. Superb defensively but create so little going forward. Rely way too much on individuals to provide moments of magic. Not a fan of Parker at all.
