poor squad depth + injuries + illness doesn’t leave us with much hope Saf. Ange has his faults, but today of all days I don’t know what he’s supposed to do.
We’ve got a lad in goal who’s been with us 17 years and hasn’t played, until the age of 26. And as of this morning, he’s on the verge of dropping further down the pecking order, as fabrizio Romano has basically given the “here we go” on another GK. You couldn’t make it up.

 

Feel for the youngsters, but frankly this has been embarrassing.

However, if Newcastle had had Burn and Joellintin rightly sent off them things might have been different.
