I hope ITV don’t try and persuade us that Southwell and Cork races are worthy of TV coverage. Stick a Bond film on <ok>

    17:05 Southwell - Glen Buck

Class-3 Handicap over 1m3f on the Tapeta surface.

Lope De Vega gelding (Damsire: Fastnet Rock) has a good chance to gain another win after a good effort 42-days ago at Wolverhampton over 1m1f on the Tapeta surface, this being his first run after a 22-month break. Talented young jockey, Jack Mitchell, rides for the Roger Varian yard.

11/4 best price early-doors, in most places on the ATR site.

I see you have gone against mine Swanny. Probably wise as mine is having to give away 6lbs and I don't lnow why. MIne has won a Class 5 maiden and Class 5 Novice, both on turf and both in very slow times. Hasn't run for 245 days. Whereas your selection has won a Class 5 maiden and and Class 4 novice, both on tapeta (faster times) and was an eyecatcher when 3rd on the tapeta 6 weeks ago

However, as I got the 3/1 last night and he's starting to go blue across the board I might just have a 1 point saver on yours as well at SP

Good move. Equivalent of a 1.75 winner. Better than a 11/8 fav loser. No idea why my original selection was made fav. Not as good as a simple win bet at 11/4. Well done Swanny
