We’re doing very well to still be in the mix

Big weekend ahead with what should be a home win to come.

All of these eleven players were in the match day squad for the Sunderland game and their last game against Stoke …

… all that ‘the squad is decimated’ shyte was just nonsense from Parker that people believed.

Sunderland probably had more players out than Burnley <laugh>

    Estève

A lot of their players were linked with moves away and injuries had kicked in, it was definitely an affected squad, but we knew that at the time despite what you say now. GK and defence will be pretty much the same, their forward line will be completely different. Not that it matters, likely to be a different match altogether. Like you said previously - it would be nice going into the fixture looking down on them.

Their forward line has just managed two shots in three hours of football tbf.

“Looking at the weekend fixtures - there’s a good chance we leapfrog them for this round of games!”

If that’s the case will you still insist the table doesn’t lie <laugh>

I'll go all Scott Parker <laugh>

Burnley boss Scott Parker told BBC Radio Lancashire after the Stoke game:

"I think overall, if we're being honest, we fell a bit short today. We huffed and puffed and just lacked a little something, especially in the top end of the pitch.

"We're a little bit disappointed with the way it went. We struggled at certain moments in the final third.

"We had real control in terms of possession but no shots on target tells the story of the game for us. We lacked that quality and bit of composure.”

If that’s their new improved forward line, since the Sunderland game, I’ll live with it.

Just watching the Sky match recording and wanted to check before I said anything.

I was right with what I thought at the game …

… the Sheff Utd fans were a disgrace, no class and I'm disappointed the Sky commentators didn’t mention it, especially Don Goodman.

I've never know the away supporters deliberately chant through the minute’s applause to those who’ve passed. Their own players were all applauding so there was no excuse.

Absolute pack of bastards who deserved a coach crash on the way home.

No excuse, they've already done that and the opposition respected it ...

... all they had to do was applaud like everyone else.

It wasn't about Baldock last night.

I don’t see the harm in it the applause was for their players and staff etc too it was mentioned that was the case before and obviously we had the tragic passing of baldock

if anything else was sang I’d agree with you but can see your point of view mate

    It was disrespectful mate ...

... if we'd sung about Charlie Hurley, at their Baldock game, they'd have been furious.

Just been told Simon Moore has been asked to prepare for the Portsmouth game.

I asked if that was because it's rotation, injury or something else.

'Something else' was the answer but no clarification.

That's all I was told and am only posting because I wasn't asked not to.

BTW where's that lazy match thread lad when there should be a Portsmouth thread by now ...

... seriously, the lad is taking the piss <laugh>

You know as much as I do now mate ...

... tbf the lad who messaged isn't 'in football' at all, just gets bits of info.

He'll have been digging and someone's thrown him a bit of info they might have heard from someone else.

It's all just speculation as far as I'm concerned.

I'd hope we're looking at a PL loan if Patterson's leaving though.
