Think I've heard of Willowbank. There's a McDonalds just opposite? Loads of pubs down there too, I probably couldn't guess what it was ha. The Friendship, maybe?
I know the Whitworth though, used to be called The Cheshire Cat, which I thought was a cooler name! Looks quite like a home inside? Settees and a fireplace and what not. Quite nice. Went in there last week for the first time since it was done out. There's a club next door but I've never been in, prefer pubs myself. My mate works in the kitchen there -- I hope he wasn't the naked man <laugh>

It was the Frienship pub, and yes we were right beside Mcdonalds.
My husband normally stays in a different hotel, I may have misheard but I thought he said it was on the University campus, I'll ask him when I speak to him.

You mean you venture into that scary world outside to go to a pub?

What are these so called pubs like? I've heard about them but never ventured into one before.

Lol don't be silly, Comas and Nohlman were like Frodo and Gollum at the end of the the Lord of the Rings, just ****ing bickering over **** things and Comas got banned because of racism eventually (forgot what).

Used to know a pub called 'The Sportsman' on Mottram Road, a couple of regs ( one red and one blue ) both had ST's for each team and went to all the home games together.

A couple of great guys, knew their footy and were very easy to talk to.

Hope you leave it there when you come up for the game. Wouldn't want you raining on Gary's parade.
