To top off the draw vs Wolves, Paul O’Keefe says Udogie will be out for between 6-10 weeks. Happy new year everyone!
Is that six players this season now that the manager has played when not fully fit and they’ve got injured again?
It’s beyond a joke now. But it leaves me with a small glimmer of hope that it’ll force us into some half decent business during this window, and perhaps more additions/improvements/outgoings than we’d have thought. carry on like this, with this many injuries to key players, and we could have serious problems if we don’t bolster the squad accordingly.
With neither Spence or Reggie in the Europa squad who plays LB in the last 2 group games? I guess Archie and Dorrington will have to play CB
This will be a useful litmus test imo. Levy in typical Making Do FC mode will say to Ange exactly what you've said. Use Reguilon until other options are back from injury. Levy in unexpected Backing the Manager FC mode will respect the fact that Ange (plus his two predecessors) doesn't want Reguilon, and will sign a new LB this window. I'd say I'm holding my breath but I'd probably die of asphyxiation waiting.
Doubt he’ll still use Dorrington. He seems almost allergic to playing our academy. I’d imagine Bissouma or Bentancur CB and Gray LB. Though having said that, not 100% sure but I think amendments to the squad can be made for the final two league games, so maybe Spence makes the squad now.
Ben Chilwell is available, been frozen out at Chelsea. Would be a different profile to what Spurs usually go for.
I think changes can be made to the squad once they have reached the knock out stage, iirc. I suspect Dorrington will play LB (he did the other week as a sub) with Dragusin and Gray as CB.
Donley's a striker. Are you thinking of Ashley Phillips? George Abbott and Matthew Craig have deputised in defence on a few occasions, but at RB iirc.
