Absolutely. That said I do believe the FO comment was justified when I seen him act so blatantly and rag the opposing player down. He plays on the edge but that was so far past the line it was idiotic and he needs to cut it out. We have spoken, at length about it previously on here, and it was a shame to see him resort back to it last night. Lucky for us, it was a poor pen and patto was able to get his legs to it.

Aye I really like O9, but he defo does have this little tendency to do idiotic things and that was one of them

Defensive work, especially after Burrows came on.

He was full of running, I was surprised he was able to continue to the end TBH. He didn't stop. Really good shift especially if he was carrying a knock (benched previously) due to it.

I don't agree he had a very poor first half. Definitely didn't have a bad game in general taking the second half into account.

But he is fixated on 09 not being good enough despite him having had a cracking season. When Prehab decides he doesn’t like a player he keeps on at it constantly. Of course there’s a good reason why him and a few others have pointed out 09’s calamitous evening… but he also did some good and has been one of our better performers. Ballard hasn’t been as good as 09 this season all in, though clearly has a higher ceiling.

I forgot he was playing second half, didn't notice him do anything. Might have been doing good work off the ball or something I dunno.

I have said 09 has been class many many times. Recently too. The fact I made the FO again post was nothing fixated. It was because he made another error leading to an opposition goal/pen in successive weeks.

I have praised him loads. The fact the moderator of this board won't have any criticism against him is really strange and not good form when you're supposedly trying to remain balanced and objective. If he can not do that, he shouldn't be a moderator.

His reply this morning, only to that post is bang out of order and I expected better from him.

OG, Penalty, got caught in possession quite a few times and was very shaky marking their centre forward

That's your opinion and fair enough

As I said I'm a big o9 fan but him and Alese were very poor 1st half and all the danger came from those 2

But 2nd half o9 played like he had done all season, rock solid defensively and organised well

Gave away a penalty and scored an own goal. I think it's fair to say he was poor

I've explained before why I don't hold hold him as massively culpable for the penalty and OG, especially the OG. Didn't notice a great deal wrong with the rest of his play considering the quality of the opposition and Alese not having a great half.

It was a needless pull back. Mepham had the shot covered. He's getting away with it because Patterson saved the pen.

Having said that, criticising him for a poor half doesn't mean we suddenly hate him

Still buzzing from that last night. Apart from a couple of errors that, to me anyway, is the standard we aim for for the rest of the season. Considering who we were playing (begrudgingly admit they are fairly reasonable and Hamer is a decent player) that was a fantastic result especially as other teams dropped points.

Well done RLB for going for it and putting 2 upfront with 2 wingers. Yes we may have lost a little bit in midfield but Mayenda with Wilson was fantastic. Lets play on the front foot more often or at least every home game.
