Personal opinion is if we can get to the end of January still within 5-10 points of the top 2 there’s no reason we can’t push after that. We’ll have played Burnley and Sheffield United, with imo only Leeds and boro the real danger left to play.
We’ll have plenty back from injury and new lads from the window and our starting 11 is one of the better ones in the league

I genuinely think we’ll be fighting for top two til the end of the season I don’t think it’ll ever be out of sight

on the 1st of January last year Leeds were 17 points behind Leicester at the top. By the end of March Leeds were above Leicester and Leicester were down to third

there’s absolutely plenty of games and we are absolutely still in this

 

Think this is paramount. No way this Xl can push the top 2 all season without players coming in and rotating. Our best Xl is more than good enough to compete but the likes of Leeds can rest some of their better players without it being too detrimental and we can’t at the min.

Can only see 2 home wins there

Yeah top coach at this level. Hope he does well, I am a big fan. Bit of patience needed with that squad though.

 

Be interesting to see how he fares without Viveash, a lot credit their partnership as being fundamental to Coventry’s period of success under him.

I’m also interested to see how the dynamic of him working in the structure under Jon Walters works out in the longer term.

I am surprised he hasnt taken him. He left Cov in the summer but I had assumed that was made at boardroom level as they changed a few staff. Maybe Robins after all wanted some fresh eyes.

Coaches often work in teams. It can be really helpful if you have built that same mindset and level of trust. I suppose sometimes a fresh perspective can be good. Didnt do Fergie any harm.

 

Blackburn are playing Leeds perfectly here. Defensive shape is outstanding and Leeds have barely been able to have a shot.
