I’d be praying for the sack after the Liverpool game. Canny wedge and nice holiday to collect.

Well at least it gets it out of the way before we play them.
That said they will probably appoint their new manager just before they play us.

    It won't help them.

I feel a bit sorry for Rooney tbh. Blokes absolutely loaded he doesn’t need the money at all and he’s gone to a team that are favourites for relegation. He doesn’t think he should be managing better than them he’s prepared to do what it takes to start out managing a team at the arse end of the country on what will be peanuts to him. Obviously hasn’t worked out there performances haven’t been good enough at all even for a team battling at the bottom but they’ve had a few injuries to key players too. They were actually playing fairly well going into October they beat us and fully deserved to anarl, beat Blackburn and Luton too. Only lost out to Burnley and WBA by a single goal and they were the better team against WBA. I thought back then they’d probably be alright this season but they’ve had a shocking few months.

I think there’s a real willingness across English fans to see English managers fail and I’ve no idea why.

That's a bit naughty Worky calling Plymouth the "arse end of the country". When I was a young man serving in Bahrain the Defence Minister visited. He asked a lad what he thought of serving in Bahrain. The reply was "The Persian Gulf is the asshole of the World sir and Bahrain is 500 miles up it". Sunderland is however only 440 miles so maybe you just escape........

One thing I learned today was that Rooney did NOT draw a wage whilst he was here. The guy took a lot of stick from people around the Country I think just because he was Rooney and famous. He is actually quite a decent nice guy but that never got mentioned just a load of piss taking. Are we glad he's gone? I think yes generally as the media circus will go with him. However bad he might have been though he can't be faulted for trying and he never had an ego so managing little ole Argyle was never a factor. Good luck to the guy is the general opinion despite where we are.

Think Rooney has a drink problem. He slurs during post match interviews.

A very poor speaker & communicator, he will always find it difficult to fire his team up.

Great player tho. Mebbies he should drop to L2 or NL to get experience.
