That’s probably one of the reasons why Ange doesn’t want him though. Ange likes his full backs inside doesn’t he. I don’t rate Reguilon much but if you’re stuck with a player then you might as well get use out of them.
To be fair I thought he was decent when he came on Sunday. He's not that bad so God knows what he must have done to upset the hierarchy that much...
Not sod off to Turkey in September, basically It does feel like part of the reason our summer felt like it had one or two moves left in it is entirely because we were banking on Richy or Reggie (or possibly both) leaving
Are we still using Paratici for consultancy in some capacity, despite his ban? His record of player quality was generally pretty good, so if there was ever a time to get his advice on acquisitions, I’d hope we’d use it now of all occasions to be honest. I’m dreading a Saha/Nelsen-esque window
A few reports suggest he does do consultancy but as to how deep that is I have no idea. I’m sure I read he played a part in the Vicario and Dragusin signings which would obviously make sense but beyond that I’m really not sure.
There are quite a few academic papers on this. The average per season is five players missing time with a hamstring injury with a few missing twice or more, so eight instances on average. Having had a hamstring injury before is a factor. We seem to have had six, of which four players had previous instances before Ange was their coach. So it seems a bit above normal but not a major outlier. Liverpool had 8 last year and even more in Klopp's first season.

So of course Matheus Cunha has just received a two-game ban for his involvement in the mass brawl against Ipswich two weeks ago...
He grabbed a security guard by the neck and slapped an Ipswich coach in the face, breaking his glasses. In what version of reality is this behaviour less than a third of the severity of what Bentancur did?
For comparison, Paolo Di Canio was immediately suspended by Sheffield Wednesday for shoving a referee - and that was before The FA stopped dithering for five minutes to give him an 11-match nan
