Fair play to Miles Leaburn, he looked very rusty when he came back from injury, but now we are one again seeing an Academy player with true quality. Stick that up your pipe, Global. His second goal yesterday was a touch of class that you’ve either got as a player, or haven’t. His Dad was certainly never capable of such a finish.
Yeah a player that Glob all described as This is who Globall describes as a mummy’s boy and living off his old man’s name?????
If he really were living off his old man’s name, he’d be playing on Hackney Marshes now. Carl was a trier but an extremely limited footballer.
I have to disagree to a certain extent. Limited in skill but passion and desire was enough for me. Given the period when he played, and the cafc team around him, he was not that out of place. I’ll never forget what he did at Chelsea in the playoff. But yes crap mostly. I also was highlighting the irony of the Global’s post!
"Doubt it, the most we'll get is around 300k I would imagine. Done nothing to justify anything above that". If he was better in possession with ball to feet he's be worth double that. ***Ivor yesterday
I was in the away end at Ewood Park when Carl Leaburn scored a hat trick for us The memory can play tricks, but I am sure the 3rd one was a brilliant bicycle kick, right in front of our fans.
I think Lardi is your man for this but yes he did score a triple at Ewood Park. Possibly more a slip than a bicycle kick tho!
