Just asking, who's going to pay Tan back his £150m and change?

Get rid of Choo and Dalman and Riza by all means although I believe Dalman has a loan to the club of £25m +.

Anyone who thinks Tan will walk away and leave his money needs to give their head a wobble.

    It obviously isn't Tan's either.

Very true Sparks but without him it is unlikely we would have a club.

You can add considerable vocal booing, some quite vicious, directed at certain players, if not the team as a whole. Yes they are not good enough, at the moment, but it does certainly not help the team

There's no denying that Bluey. HMRC winding up petitions were like confetti at a wedding before he took the reins. We've never had that problem since he took control - the problem is he took control of everything, not just the finances.

Along with changing our club colours to red which demonstrated his lack of understanding of what CCFC historically meant to it's supporters, his total veto on pure footballing matters is holding the club back.

He demonstrated he could personally reverse the colour change and did so, but he'll never reverse the funding committment he's undertaken without accepting a much more radical (and difficult) decison about running the club needs to be made.

It would help if Tan actually made a personal statement so the fans know what his plans & aspirations are for the club. I can’t help the feeling he’s so hung up on the fans revolt against the red, his distrust of giving managers cash (after Mackay and Warnock) and the Sala affair that he’s blind to the reality the club now is in.

What’s he going to do if which seems an inevitability we are relegated?

I’m a bit surprised at your form this season tbh. I thought this would happen last season, after a points deduction for Reading spared you relegation the season before. However, you did improve last season, so I expected you to be in the 16-20th spots this season, but safe from relegation. You still might of course, and hope you do for the banter.

No, not quite at that level season, although we won’t be far away. Maybe next season, we need to sort out forward line out.

I for one wouldn’t bemoan Bristol C having a season in the PL - and it would be just the one season though going on the current trend<whistle>

I’ve said on our site many times, I’m not sure I want us to go up, or sure it’s a good thing, and I’m certain Sir Steve doesn’t want to bankroll would it would cost to even try and compete. Yes, it gets publicity, and some money, but for the fans, getting battered every week is demoralising.

While visiting my daughter in Poole over Christmas I went to the Bournemouth v Palace game. Even for 2 average Prem sides the difference in playing standards between Prem and Championship sides is huge in all aspects of the game. Hence the number of yo yo clubs we have seen in recent years.

In fairness Forest and Bournemouth are bucking the trend but can they sustain this for any length of time?

As you state there’s a yo yo trend with every chance the 3 who went up last season will be straight back down and be replaced by at least 2 of the 3 relegated clubs from the PL last season.

As has been stated often here City had 2 opportunities to become an established PL team but sadly didn’t take either.
