Our forwards today Diaz 1 goal gakpo 1 goal salah 1 goal 2 assists Jota 1 goal Arguably the most potent attacking line up in Europe at the moment. Gakpo has taken his game to a new level the last 10/12 games. Diaz has shown his versatility and is upping his numbers. Jota is so consistent when fit he’ll score goals. Nunez is the outlier no doubt. But at the same time, he’s so different to the other 4 that it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Yeah you’d like him to score 20 goals but when the other 4 are getting 60 goals between them anyway, is it a massive issue?

Said at the start of the season that Diaz needed to get his numbers up. He was always a real threat and was something we didn’t have where could beat a man 1v1 with skill (albeit gakpo has that ability as well when cutting in) but he was a 1 g/a in 3 player. Where as for a wide player for lfc you need to be at minimum 1 in 2. he now has 13 goals 2 assists in 25 games this season so hitting the type of numbers that expected.
