Should be Pedro. No idea why it changed to Pierre.

Yeah spot on, can’t fault any of them, exactly sort of performance that was needed. Prefer Drameh and Jacob combo, both made mistakes but both barely played or started recently tbf

    Post-match reaction
Blackburn head coach John Eustace told BBC Radio Lancashire:

"It's a really disappointing result. It was a difficult game and we created a couple of really good chances, but needed to be more clinical.

"It was never going to be pretty and then we needed to defend the box better in the second half. The lads kept going, and the attitude was good, so we move on to the next one.

"The effort the boys put in a few days ago [2-2 draw v Sunderland] was excellent, so it was a big ask, but it was the same for both teams.

"It's important we don't get too disappointed. The boys have been magnificent this year and we go into the new year in the top six, which is really exciting."

Hull City head coach Ruben Selles told BBC Radio Humberside:

"We had some good moments but the most important thing was that we were competitive and took our chances. In our box we protected with everything we have and in the other box scored with the situation we had.

"Everyone is fighting really hard to get results for the club. We have a good platform and hopefully it's the beginning of a good run away from home.

"Ryan [Longman] was very upset after the last game because he didn't have a very good game and wanted to make a point going on to the pitch.

"It was not only the goal, he was all over the place running, pressing, getting people one-on-one, commanding the team, running back - that's the kind of mentality we need."

Slater has become really good at that, driving into space when we've created an overload. He can outrun a defender chasing him, which most players struggle to do when they're running with the ball.

Also agree on Cody. I don't like being overly critical especially after a win but I really do find it odd that he's talked about as the luxury alternative to Coyle when he's so incredibly prone to giving the ball away. I think some players definitely get away with more mistakes before people start to notice it than certain others do.

Great result and at last a clean sheet, do that and there is always a chance to score. Longman took his goal very calmly and Jones made a number of great blocks. Well done on the win, great support and to have no goals against is what we need more of going forward.

I know that one swallow a summer doesn’t make but in my opinion and I’ve watched and played a fair bit of football over the last 150 years, this team will not get relegated, in fact I think we will just miss out on the top 6 and we’ll all be saying in may how getting rid of Walter earlier we’d be in there ….

Selles' Pedro is a world away from the one under Walter

It looks like Sellés is turning us into a normal football team again. We’ve averaged 1.4 points a game since he took over. Keep that up and we’ll manage to get out of this mess.

Ok, It’s Puerta that gets changed into Pierre, not Pedro.

Thoroughly enjoyed sitting quietly in the Jack Walker Stand at the end nearest to our supporters in the Darwen End Stand. When Longman scored, I just turned to the wife and said “Whoopsie’.
Looking forward to watching the highlights later. We were directly in line with the goal line and it didn’t even occur to me that Pedro could have been offside for the second goal.
It may not have always been pretty but the players are definitely trying there best for Selles and it’s definitely showing signs of improvement. Some of our attacking play in the final stages was excellent.

Then Acun will sack Selles & appoint Rooney & we’ll be known as the short & snappy, “Wayne Rooney’s Hull City AFC”!
