I think we’ll beat Liverpool in the first leg as they’ll rest players but they’ll bring everyone back for the second leg and be to good for us again. Newcastle we win, loss to Arsenal sadly then obviously win at Tamworth.
You’ll probably only need a post it note to write these down but I’m staying positive, results have to change at some point.
The Poool are safe in the CL. Given the PL result I would wager they fancy their chances of getting the tie done and dusted in the first leg (ie they will not be resting enough decent players) .
I jokingly said it would also be an opportunity to play Reguilon. Didn't realise he would be our only left back by then.
Here's one for the stat merchants: First time since June Ramos we've failed to win 5 home games on the trot. Ramos went on to drop points in the subsequent 3 home games and was sacked at the end of that run.
One day you will have called it right due to the laws of probability next week against the Toon though? if you was a betting man, would you lump something on it? I bet you wouldn’t admire your optimism though
Liverpool B likely still turn us over to be fair. Tamworth the only one I see us winning. Toon and Arsenal likely turn us over relatively easily.
Yeah I genuinely admire and respect his optimism. For me any optimism at the moment is stemming more from hope than any viable base. The pessimism is stemming from what’s literally happening.
Got to win at some point, why not think it will be in the next game when it’s one we’re playing a team on a similar level. We’re much better than the results we’re getting and 11th place in the league so either be in the mindset that we won’t win another game all season or think that we will turn it round and what better time to do so than in the new year. I am a betting man but never ever bet on spurs as would hate being let down twice if I’m wrong and would never hope for anything to go against us even if it was BTTS or something.
Anyone know who will be playing CB against Tamworth? I hear it'll be the two Alfies: Dorrington & Whiteman
Your track record of predictions doesn't feel me with confidence, mate. Even as recently as 8.50am this morning: so forgive me if I stay on the pessimistic side of the fence.
More defeats than wins too I believe. 18 months and the manager seems to be taking the club backwards. Not good.
