Think Spurs wanted that London stadium initially after the Olympics, they dodged a bullet. It's an athletics stadium. Upton Park was a great little ground. Went there loads in the 80's and 90's
That’s as bad a performance from City that I have seen from any team in a while, they genuinely looked disinterested. You had a number of chances which unfortunately were all fluffed, which was a shame because you look terrible at the back. If you are to remain in the PL, you definitely needs someone who has shooting boots.
yeah you guys did well. Actually shaded the play overall but just lacking the clinical finishing, vardy particularly wasteful
I think RvN is well aware of the back 4 frailty - we seem to be being linked with a number of centre-backs - he's apparently been given assurances that he'll have plenty to spend in Jan, so will be interesting to see what happens ... certainly got some creative talent - but unfortunately only Vardy has much finishing threat...
Got to go a couple of times towards the end and it was the most proper of all proper grounds. Been in the away end as a neutral at this dump and it’s all awful. Their fans must hate it in between rants about how London ain’t what it used to be and stuffing cash under the mattress.
He’s not ready to play in the Prem. Probably better getting him next season as a top Championship striker.
I had mates who were West Ham fans, so used to go to Upton Park when we were playing ooop north. Also used to go to Newham college back in the day. You could bunk off and go and watch West Ham reserves play for £2. I've stood in the away end and started a song 'Jimmy, give us a wave' as Jimmy Hill was climbing the ladder into the temporary TV box up on scaffolding. Proper old football ground.
Shagger Quansah on for Gomez gives West Ham a chance. Bloke will be more worried about his Bumble matches than defending.
What you playing ? Recommend any decent footie games ? That FC25 looks ****. Have downloaded UFL, but hearing that the best thing out atm is PES2021
