Cannon that done **** all, all game and didn’t get a single chance. Bar one lucky pop shot at the end?

Luke like most centre backs is judged on concentrating for 90 mins and staying calm under pressure. He has more than most poor touches resulting in other CBs getting sent off trying to recover (Ballard last year, Mepham this year) Is he good enough for premiership. I think both Mepham & Ballard will play at a higher level.

He was bought as a left forward. But Mundle started class and Mayenda wasn't and isn't ready.

    I agree with you

but we have Isidor, so surely it’s more worrying that we can’t set the team up and create a chance

On the bright side we are still 4th, 6 points clear of 5th and 8 points clear of 7th.
We created loads, we just need some more clinical players on the pitch

The results below us (the way I’m looking now) make that not a disaster. If we go and get a result against Sheffield Utd the cat is back amongst the pigeons.

our injury list is too long and our squad not deep enough to sustain the number of fixtures over Christmas.

I do think if Stoke hadn’t have sacked the manager we probably win that in the second half.

I’d need to see it again but I reckon AAs shot was going in before Hume sends it wide

Move on. A long, long way to go. 4 defeats in 24 games. Need a decent finisher in the squad. Not bit players.

    One lucky pop shot ?

    Are you serious ?

Absolutely high quality, drilled finish to the near post that flew past Patterson to win the game. Haway man.

It just didn't fall for us today, the penalty first half will be forgotten, it was as clear as day live, how the ref missed it is beyond me.

That goes our way and it's a different game.

We hit the post twice? 3 times? Their keeper made 2 or 3 brilliant saves? On another day we win that comfortably

Considering the game mayenda had, taking aleksic off for roberts was mad and it makes no sense. The kid was relatively quiet but was a presence winning key tackles and we lost that when he went off. Why? He's had 6 months to get ready for 90 mins of action. Bad sub.

    Did we create loads?

I don’t think so, the Mayenda one is the only clear chance. Rest were half chances I think we created much of nothing and had a lot of speculative efforts saved

Just said the same to my da, it's all good having another striker but we just don't create enough chances (Mayenda absolute sitter is the exception).

Adil put a couple of class balls in but nobody gambled...that's probably because it's not the sort of ball they are used to. It normally goes back to the edge of the box followed by fannying around.

Our corners are still ****ing woeful too. Might as well just let the keeper take a goal kick

8 draws and 4 defeats for us in the league so far

Aye it’s nice being tough to beat but 3 wins and 9 defeats in those 12 fixtures would’ve returned more points!

    Must start winning more games.

Aye fair points that. We need some investment in Jan. To come in and start. The mayenda of the world shouldn't be starting.

Stoke are useless and chances created very limited, We dominate most games and create chances

Aye. I do think he’s bang average, and I wouldn’t want him here, but that was a clean strike and a good goal.

I’m leaning towards ‘do we just need some massive 6 foot plus ****house number 9’

AA balls were floated crosses mainly though and that’s not a massively dangerous ball for us.

you need drilled crosses across the 6 yard box. Look at Blackburn as well as Wilson’s goal against Watford and Derby for example

Thats like saying backing Wilson because of his lucky pop shot against Coventry..? It wasn’t a pop shot it was a well taken goal today. Some of our fans are allergic to admitting other players can do things better than ours on the day. I think the point being made is top strikers at this level take their chance when they get it and Isidor isn’t at the minute.

It’s just another frustrating away day unfortunately that we should’ve won. We had NINETEEN shots inside their box. If you think theres not a problem there then I don’t really know what else to say.
