Ashley wants money but he's not stupid enough to sell all our top players then lose money by slipping down the table and getting relegated.
It's in his interest to keep our team going, and he's trying to make the club self sustainable and in an attractive position to sell.
The players at our club that would be sold, wont get the same first team action they'll get here, at a club that can push for 7th place and possibly do the business in the early stages of the Europa league if we add to the squad.
