Plane crash in South Korea with 177 dead, worst domestic aviation disaster in their history.

Came down with no wheels and kept going until it hit a wall.

Lots of questions as to be expected being asked. Claims a bird strike originally but a bird strike wouldn't take down a plane with two engines, also don't explain why the wheels weren't down....also why didn't it dump it's fuel before landing...and why the fook is it reaching a brick wall. All very odd.

If it had no landing gear, that would explain why it's gone off the end of the runway. As for the rest of it, dunno. I guess the air accident investigation will find out.

    Yeh all a bit questionable

    the birds own the skies

I’m surprised that there are no counter measures for a bird strike…a plane should be able to withhold a bird getting sucked up the engine? A flock of birds even

what’s that got to do with the landing gear not coming out? Reports saying pilots possibly ‘forgot’ to release the landing gear…I mean how the **** do you forget that? You’ve got one job to do.

and then like you say…a brick wall at the end of the runway? That sounds ****ing stupid…you’d think it would open up to some baron land like I seen in the movies now n again.

All seems a bit careless to me

Can't imagine both a pilot and co-pilot 'forgetting' to release the landing gear ... has to have been some fault or failure with it ...

Some guy on the telly reckoned a bird strike is nowt, they are trained for it and it's quite low on risk of problems, especiallly as you have the other engine. I didn't know about the 'forgot to release the land gear bit, what was he pissed lol. Two air hostesses sitting at the back survived, so hopefully will be able to shed some light on the situation.

Why would you put a wall at the end of a runway?

Why land on a runway that is going to take you into a brickwall. Why not dump your fuel, why not land on water. So no it don't explain anything.

I always remember the landing strip at Gibraltar airport crossed the main road, don't know if it's still like it, longtime ago I went and at that time it looked like they were constructing an underpass for traffic.

The PAAI (Piskie air accident investigation) have concluded their investigation and the findings are as follows

    1. The plane crash landed coz the wheels were up
    2. The plane burst into flames coz it hit a brick wall
