Down the Uni gym. Pretty good actually, very well equipped. Seems Tuesday afternoon's are weightlifting team sessions, male and female. Some nice birds with large nut cracking arses and thighs knocking about.
The sooner they move the females into their women only gyms the better imo. I go to the gym to lift weights. It's become a place for girls to come and show themselves off, make videos of themselves etc and I've seen them pull faces if people look at their arses for a second which is only natural.... cover up maybe? Oh why should we cover up ? To save us all having to look at your fat arse maybe. They seem to want their own gyms, so go ahead give them what they want.... I'm sure there are some blokes that do nothing but make them feel uncomfortable.
They've turned into vile places with mostly vile people, however there are some that just want to look after themselves and some older folk to try and stay alive longer. These days people dress like they're in a porn film or a superhero movie.
Actually have the opposite problem in a way at mine. Hardly anyone there is a serious gym-goer and it’s either newbies or yutes who either don’t know or don’t care about gym etiquette. If it’s busy you let people work in. You put your weights away in the right place. Basic ****. And there’s rarely birds making content for Insta because almost all of them are grim.
Sounds great where is it? I go super early like 5am.... only a few sad arseholes like me are in then. The birds don't tend to do weekends
Boxing Day sesh at the city centre Puregym which even when quiet and the students at home had far better bums on show than my gym. Didn’t fancy doing my usual so did eight rounds of three sets. 2 shoulders, 2 chest, 2 back, 1 triceps, 1 biceps. Can lift a lot when you’ve eaten 5000+ calories the day before and done three ****s in the morning. Enjoy your workouts guys xxx
Back from Indo now. Got out of the gym thing and switched to workouts on the complex tennis court with a personal trainer, interspersed with runs. Trying to adapt that to here so walk to the park, do a 5k run, then do a short HIIT session on the bike park involving step ups on the bench, squats and burpees, then walk back home to do some resistance band side-pulls in the garden. Only downside is having to wait until it comes light to start as I am used to being done by 7.30am before it gets too hot, and running in leggings, gloves and woolly hat while everyone else is in tee shirts and shorts.
Off for a surf today. Been trying to shake off a horrible virus since Xmas eve, so this should either cure it or send me back to bed for a week. Can’t sit around eating and vegging again anymore though. It’s turning my brain to mush.
Im just out. It was hella cold, but worth getting through that mental barrier and getting some decent exercise in. Too easy this time of year to talk yourself out of it in favour of eating another kilo of Ferraro Roche
Ferrero Rocher is great. Best time of year for the gym. Loads of carbs pumping through you means better lifts. Build some muscle while carrying a few extra pounds and it’s not too busy before all the ‘new year new me’ ****s start next week.
Played proper competition golf today, full 18 for 1st time in a few weeks. Felt ****ed after. Aching everywhere, physically tired and mentally battered. Bloody Christmas. Anyway, won the ****er, £120 in the back burner and a 1.5 shot pull, so not all bad. Will go gym NYE, the weather is supposed to be ****e.
The new year new me knobheads are here already. Bloke lifting about 50kg on the girly leg press and grunting with a pack of dates next to him. Throbber.
