Start to look a bit shaky?

Surely we reached that stage long ago <laugh>

More than silly mistakes. You really seem to be underplaying the issues Spurs have. It’s not just defensive injuries that have caused this bad form.

The injuries are the main issue which lead to the other issues such as being unable to rotate meaning players are shattered and more likely to make mistakes.

The other main issue I see is lack of a DM to help protect the defence when the ball gets turned over. We’ve had that issue all season though and until we buy someone for that position it will remain. We’ve still won games though and I think we’ll win another today.

My over whelming sense of optimism is still keeping the dream alive, although it is just starting to fade a tad.... :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm

hopefully Wolves’ new manager bounce is over, but then there’s always Dr Tottenham to save the day if needs be.

The defensive woes aren’t going away any time soon, but I’m more concerned about how we score goals if wolves decide to sit deep. We look absolutely clueless when sides set up against us like that. If wolves do that, I’m confident they’ll leave the stadium with at least a point.

Ange’s insistence on the high line and sprints has played a part in so many injuries because of the number of games, so I’m not sure we will ever see a period this season where the squad is frequently injury free.

A good DM could help but in Ange’s system he has all his midfielders push forward which leaves spaces for the opposition so I’m unsure how much it would solve.

Think we did that under Jol one season and in Redknapps first season?

It gets worse: I checked the site for some of the scents, and while some make sense (vanilla, sandalwood, white musk, etc etc) they also have things like sheer...which isn't a f'n scent, nor does the site suggest what that scent actually is, so for all intents and purposes you could wind up with a perfume featuring the scent notes of stale beer, urine and cleaning fluid so wind up smelling of a Wetherspoons

There is nothing but blind optimism to suggest that we get something from today

and I dont do that…I feel foolish having optimism with no logic to back it up

I’ve mostly felt optimistic about Spurs, even during the bad times. I’m utterly dejected at present being a Spurs supporter and made no effort to watch the NF game and today I’ll watch it expecting a dull fest ending in a 1-0 loss.

I’m going 27 minutes for when Dragusin has to go off for aggravating his injury.

Maddison not starting again is very odd too, top scorer in the Prem for us.

The situation with Maddison is bizarre. Allegedly the kingpin for our creative play, but only occasionally produces and seldom starts - even in what could be regarded as key games.
Undoubtedly has talent but equally undeniably doesn't have the faith of his coach.
