Another game that we can watch on Sky tomorrow. Wycombe are a ridiculous 17 points ahead of us in the league table, on a third of our budget. To paraphrase our fav Carry On poster, perhaps we might wish to consider replacing our SMT with theirs ? You’d expect Wycombe to bring at least 2,000 tomorrow, so there must be every chance of Methven whipping up a few half n’ half scarves in a local sweatshop this morning. This game is the Acid Test for our mini revival - have we merely beaten two bad teams already below us in the league, or have we genuinely turned a corner….

We have beaten Birmingham at home so why not Wycombe? I think it will be an away win. Wycombe are flying.
But we are capable of beating the best teams in the division. We are also capable of losing to the worst teams. So anything could happen.
This league is so poor it only takes 5-6 back to back wins & you are right up there. We *should* be one of three teams competing for outright promotion from this tinpot league, along with Birmingham & Wrexham, but it’s almost certainly impossible now. I saw a stat on social media listing how many times Jones has already dropped -recalled- dropped his own signings this season …which speaks volumes.
We'll see if Leaburn is ready, or whether NJ kept him on too long. Kanu seems to have dropped down the pecking order behind Ahadme and Hylton, so it's possible Ahadme will have to start .
"Ally Pally" at The Valley With the PDC World Darts Championship well under way, what better way to round off 2024 than in true "Ally Pally" fashion with a darts-themed matchday in SE7. There will be a variety of darts-related activities on the day, including magnetic dart boards scattered in and around the ground, giant inflatable boards with a footballing twist and a unique menu in the concourse kiosks. Supporters are encouraged to wear fancy dress (no masks allowed) in true "Ally Pally" spirit, with the best images featuring across the club's social media channels on the day. ****** On the club site today, why are you not able to wear a mask?
A darts themed match-day. How about a Football themed match-day for a change? Facial recognition technology won't work if you wear a mask.

Usually we play well against the best teams but I am not feeling it for tomorrow. It’s a loss for me,perhaps 3-1 to them.
