I usually have the radio commentary on anyway along with the Sky feed. The tech side of it is not an issue to me, I can assure you.

Gone for a draw again. They need to step it up a notch. Not creative enough in the last third. But if Slater takes his chance this time we might get something.

Don't think Pedro should be dropped / rested. But, like you, would like to see what Burstow offers in his natural position. So, why not Pedro for 60 minutes giving his all, then Burstow for 30+ at CF?

What's happened to Simons? Is he injured (still)? Not showing on post #1 of Injury Thread. Think we need him for solidity in front of back 4.

Reluctantly agree that Coyle at LB is worth a try going back to temporarily. Some have, bafflingly to my mind, commented positively about Giles when imo he's been dire, and it would seem Selles & his team agree given he was hooked at HT. I really want Jacob to nail it, but to me he looked a bit out of his depth (maybe lack of match sharpness though). What an absolute **** up LB has been when we've brought in Giles and Furlong, let Fleming go, tried Jacob, and still don't have an answer other than playing a RB there.

I'd love Omur to nail No 10 but he's surely run out of chances?

    GK Pandur
    RB Drameh
    CB Jones
    CB McLoughlin
    LB Coyle
    CM Simons
    CM Alzate
    CAM Puerta
    LW Kamara
    RW Longman
    ST Pedro (Burstow at 60)

Fast losing hope/interest in this season but I'll turn up as ever in blind faith.

Given how **** our wide options are, if I was Sellés I’d be tempted to try 4-2-2-2 until January at least.

    Pandur
    Drameh - Jones - McLoughlin - Giles
    Puerta - Alzate
    Ömür - Mehlem
    Burstow - Pedro

He likes that formation and has used it before.

I've got a feeling you might be near the mark with 4-1, but knowing City as we do, I wouldn't be too surprised if we somehow nick a point...I can't see a City win, but a point you never know...Thing is if we concede early it could get nasty...Got to hold on and take a lead and keep it. For a change.

Tickets are now off sale, and no pay on the day either.
If people had of realised that Sky weren't showing the game, they may have bought a few more.

Bugger. We could have got some yesterday but they were collecting from MKM. Wasn't going to drive from Shrewsbury or Crewe for that and expected we could buy and pick up from Ewood. Don't understand why they don't provide that.

If we continue with 4-3-3, I’d rather Alzate pushes up into that right-sided central midfield spot currently occupied by Slater and play Simons as the number 6. That whole right side absolutely stinks in possession at the moment and it’s the same names again and again, namely Slater and Coyle but also Longman against Preston. Little movement and when there is, the likes of Coyle and Slater don’t have the intelligence to see it and make the pass. Alzate has a good eye for those line-breaking passes so at least he’d be able to play balls to Longman or Kamara or whoever on the right-wing. Puerta on the other side of midfield is starting to show some quality.

Nah, excess amount of pigs in blankets and stuffing eaten on Christmas Day, caused him acute heart burn. 4 Rennies and a Gaviscon didn't clear it at half-time had to come off.

God forbid Selles might have told him off for missing that sitter. I hope Coyle stood up and told him he was out of order. Bless him.
