I do it all of the time, our company financial year starts in October and as I get older it becomes difficult to separate calender and fiscal years!
Parker, Cabaye and Enrique are the best value for money for me. Aguero and Saurez are probably the top signings.
i think you have to look at the table and decide this. city are top and i think edin dzeko deserves a shout. you have to admit he's fired some good goals after a shaky start. The table doesn't lie so even though the utd fan is right about jones being a very good buy they've not improved one iota with him in the side... long term he'll be great for utd but there you go. I would agree with the sentinments on cheslea's buys. they've got worse and worse so they can't be that good No i think city have improved most in 2011 and are now the side in england so take your pick out of their options.
Well, if going on team improvement. Kenny Dalglish anyone? The OP never stated best player signings. No doubt we a playing much better than we were before he came in. This season is a much better improvement, although we may not get top 4 I am sure we are going to finish on higher points than last season whilst playing much better football.
well we were 18th or something similar at the start of jan.... suarez is a big part of getting us to 6th but where we were was managerial incompetance.... 7th under rafa, 6th under kenny despite hodgson's uselessness and 6th now again... Silva, aguero, dzeko, toure... all fantastic.... clichy? city are bloody good. enrique and suarez for us. parker and adebayor for spurs. Arsenal.... oh i dunno... mertesacker? gervinho? or is it all RVP? chelsea are dire so none of their buys are working this calender year.
Arsenal I would say Arteta...although not outstanding he has done a job well done in covering the void by Cesc. Mertesacker...I'm just glad we didn't go for him as I was one of the few that thought he would be a good signing. They will go though another bad patch again, yes they are flying high now but so were Utd at the start of the season...the difference between them and Utd is that Utd still manage to win when playing poorly. Chelsea are really poor for RA's standards, Mata has been a good signing for them with 7 or 8 assists but him alone wont make them a better side. We miss Meireles as much as they have revelled in his services...which is not a lot.
