Sellers Fleming is very raw. Not the most technically gifted but will score a few at YT level. He won’t get that in the senior game

Another game, alongside about 18-19 other games this season, where we haven't looked outclassed, but have missed chances at opportune times and then not defended well enough when the opposition attack. Some of these players in the squad are garbage, the ones that really worries me atm are Giles, Kamara and Omur, looking like a set of really expensive **** ups, an no one in their right mind would want them at the price we paid for them, big problem is who would take any of our players off our hands?

Pandur could have done a lot better with the goal too. It was right next to him within reach.

I wonder how many players some people are expecting us to sign in January
because it won't be half a teams worth

We are still going to have to play most of this lot

Somehow we need to ship out, Jacob, Giles, macca, coyle, Slater, longman, sinik, mehlem, kamara, bedia and omur, none of them are worth a place in the starting 11.

We look more up for it than we did under Walter, but the end results seem to be much the same overall.

We still miss sitters, the same players keep having poor games and sloppy play/mistakes continue to cost us.

First half was better than the second.

Pandur - didn't have much to do. Could have done better with their goal but he wasn't at fault for it.

Coyle - needs dropping. People can complain all they want but he's been terrible for weeks now.

Jones and Macca - played well I thought.

Giles - thought he was alright overall. Not sure why he was hooked.

Drameh - too little time on the pitch, but looked decent in the moments he had. That cross was good.

Jacob - not the answer to any question we might have.

Alzate - obvious quality about him. Partially at fault for the goal however.

Puerta - another good game overall.

Slater - needs to start taking his chances. He's getting into good positions which is a positive but honestly, he needs dropping if he can't get his head into it. Poor in build up too and has become a bit of a liability defensively as well.

Burstow - did alright. I like his directness.

Longman - didn't do much really.

Pedro - really growing into it the more he plays for us but we're not creating much for him.

Bedia and Omur - absolutely pointless.

Kamara - hard to judge as the game became scrappy by the time he came on. Didn't do anything that stood out to me today.

I was utterly certain of at least a point, no chance was we going to lose…..then that happens. Hopeless.

it’s not the coaching, we just have ****e players

Saw that coming a mile off tbh. We're a poor, relegation bound side, and one win doesn't change that. Even Rotherham won the odd game here and there last season.

My worry with this is that given how long Jacob, McLoughlin, Coyle, Slater and Longman have been here, an offer hasn’t come in that we’ve considered worthy outside of a loan from Millwall for Longman. So why would one suddenly come in now off the back of arguably their worst seasons for us? There is interest in Longman, but as far as the others go they’d probably have to drop down a league and I’m not sure Coyle, Macca and Slater would do that because in their eyes they’ve proven themselves at this level.

I said it a few weeks ago, how have we spent all this money and ended up worse than the team we had we acun took over. The brain team should have followed Tim out the door

Harsh truth. Then there's a few others in the squad that aren't featuring to add too. I'd keep Kamara though.

Does Kamara look much better ? He just seems languid and weak or not really up for it .

I think the Tan thing had a big impact on Summer and we only found out about it long after the effects were felt.

Which is all the more galling after talk in February or March about Summer transfer plans being well underway.

Pressure has gone up on him tenfold to step into the void left by Millar and Belloumi. He would’ve been able to develop at a better rate without the injuries but now expectation has gone up loads because he’s the “talisman”

Well that was ripped up after sacking Rosenior and replacing him with a transformative coach that needed a new squad

The next 3 League games look like a 'propping up the table' is heading our way.3 Teams with genuine aspirations of a top 6 finish and we're looking at getting shot of half the team and bringing in some class...

    Not a pleasant thought.
