They've lost their last two, away to Hull and at home to Sunderland, and before that they beat Plymouth and drew the two games before that. Their manager, Luke Williams, is approaching a year in charge of the club, and has so far won 16, drawn 10 and lost 20. He'll be hoping for an improvement if Swansea are to even consider a possible return to the top flight. Their squad is a nice balance of experience, with the likes of Joe Allen and younger players like Ronald and Franco. Their top scorer this season is Liam Cullen, with six goals. As for us, if you'd have told me at the beginning of November we'd go into Christmas pushing for a spot in the top half of the table I probably wouldn't have believed you. Since November 1st, we've lost two, drawn four and won four...those 16 points have seen us move well clear of the danger zone, and if this form continues we should finish comfortably in the top half of the table. It was particularly encouraging to see a few players return on Saturday, although worrying to see Cook limp off after an awkward fall before their goal. Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, enjoy one and all, and for those making the trip on Boxing Day, enjoy and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Only popped in to say Kevin McLeod and he’s already on the list. Karl Connolly had the best song. Scott Sinclair.
I was pleased to see the bookies favoured us for the win against PNE. It's back to business as usual for this one! Just another obstacle to overcome. COYRs!
Optimistic me reckons they’ve lost two on the bounce including to an absolute **** Hull team so it’s probably a good time to play them. Realistic me would snap your hand off for two points from these two games then I fancy us against Watford.
The way we have set up away from home recently a point seems to be the objective, though we’ve had a bonus win as well. He always says he wants to win, but sometimes it doesn’t look like it. I hope he goes for it on Boxing Day, they are in a slump and we are doing ok. Cheers Dave.
15 hours on a train or 18 hours on a bike It's an easy choice really Boxing day at home with a beer and steelsy+
Yeah, I've blanked out pretty much any match managed or signing made by Mark Hughes, so can't remember that one.
