Italian lemons in Lidl and they are lovely, there's a sweetness there that you don't get with the normal ones. Going to do a lemon and thyme chicken dish tonight.
If you don't hear from me again I've died of alcohol poisoning. Doing all the prep work for big Xmas eve dinner (when my family has Xmas meal instead of Xmas day)... Drinking way too much while working on an empty stomach... May die, but that's ok.

Been to the butchers and picked up the joint, we're having pork shoulder. Wrapping presents now and then gonna take the dog down the beach for a run.
The dread is kicking in. Have a house full tomorrow. 12 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers and a baby here for champagne breakfast. Doing eggs Benedict, some with bacon some with smoked salmon. then all goes according to plan they will all leave at 11:30. Will wonder to the local for a couple then home to cook. Got a rib of beef. have done some veg prep today, potatoes and parsnips par boiled and will pop in them in the fridge over night. Goose fat to go on them. got some weird sprout gratin with bacon ready made, M&S cauliflower cheese.
